Patrick and I wanted to go Huckleberry picking this year and we couldn't get up to where we would find them. We were bummed, and were heading down the kellys canyon road, and saw all of these chokecherrys.

So... we filled these two gallon milk juges with the chokecherrys, and thought lets make syrup!

Not quite a sink full so we went back to get more berrys! By the weekend we had our sink full and our syrup made, thanks to my pour mother-in-law that had to hold our hand through the hole process of making the syrup! needless to say in the future we can maybe remmember how.

Our turn out was 16 1/2 qts
